In each mikroliter the blood of adults, normally there are 3,500-10,500 white blood cells or leukocytes. However, if the number of leukocytes is too high, it's a sign we are suffering a particular disease.

Leukocytes or white blood cells derived from bone marrow and circulate throughout the bloodstream. They are an important part of our immune system.
